you're an old soul, you feel like you've been alive for lifetimes. you've watched the children grow up and mature. truthfully, they regarded you as more of a parental figure than their own parents.
but as much as you adored these kids, they were idiots. everyday, they needed advice and guidance on some issue that could have easily been sorted had they some common sense. you were honestly surprised your hair hadn't completely greyed.
and now, with this new courtship, there was more drama on your plate than a shakespeare play.
