(Norwegian Wood). well, the good thing is that you don't have to read any of these books, but they could keep you occupied during these long quarantine days. also, you may have never heard of most of these books anyway, and the people around you probably haven't read them either, so you're not running the risk of reading what everyone else is reading, and hence thinking like everybody else. however, to quote Calvino, "we do not read the classics out of duty or respect, but only out of love"; so I hope that, if you actually end up reading one of these books, you will do it out of love.
