Basic info abt the story:
A chemical spill near a remote island state causes several sea creatures- that previously didn't leave the ocean- to become
parasitic and begin targeting humans (among other land animals). The Cantrell Institute of Parasitology was founded as an offshoot of a pre-existing Biomedical Science institute, dedicated to researching and dealing with the parasites. The story follows several characters dealing with both the parasites and the Insitute's regulations.
