at the festival! ---||--- The Riftlands Sun Festival is held once a year on the summer solstice: it marks the longest, brightest day of the year and is a celebration of joy and of all the ways the many people of the Riftlands are still one people together sharing the same ground and sky. The Sun Festival lasts from the first light of dawn until the last light of dusk - although many continue to celebrate after the main festival long into the evening hours. This year's Sun Festival has been dampened somewhat by the dark shroud that hangs over the western portion of the city; but Halidar is still determined to celebrate regardless, and to glean some joy and light to hold the darkness back.
