helion and perihelion. Two goddesses, two dragons, two sisters. By day they were young maidens, taken to their cave by the sea. However it was under the stars when they spread their wings and unleashed their tails. One breathed flame while one breathed ice. However, they were always together, side by side, and inseparable. Together they wove at their loom. One sister wove strings of light while one wove strings of darkness. One sister wove strings of morning while one wove strings of sleep. One sister wove strings of birth while one wove strings of death. That was until Perihelion, the sister of sunlight wove the string of humanity. She no longer took to flight at night, for she sat at the loom, weaving and weaving and weaving. She wove strings of civilization, agriculture, architecture, and war. This was when the four provinces were created: air, water, earth, and fire
